The Regular Art Show

J.G. Quintel's Cartoon Network animation opus The Regular Show is a hit, and if you're familiar with the elements encompassing this series, it shouldn't come as a surprise. Featuring a couple of screwball characters— Mordecai and Rigby, a talking blue jay and raccoon, respectively— and their equally-screwy coworkers Pops, Benson, Skips and Muscle Man, there's so much bizarreness and hilarity compacted in every episode, spanning less than fifteen minutes. Now, as a testament to its pop cultural success, it's getting the tribute art show treatment, featuring a number of artists in this non-juried show. As it is also coinciding with the opening of Arlyn Pillay Gallery, there's some goodies in store: the first fifty customers receive a free t-shirt, while Saturday the first fifty customers receive a free art print and get to check out the surprise musical guests.
