The Nutcracker

Try and imagine Christmas without Santa, presents underneath the tree, or your great Aunt drinking too much spiked Eggnog. Seriously though, there are certain Christmas traditions that are irreplaceable. Without television, there would be no marathons of A Christmas Story and Ralphie shooting his eye out. And without a trip to see The Nutcracker at the Barclay Theatre, you might as well skip Christmas morning too, Ebenezer. The amazing ballet with music by Tchaikovsky takes you back to the true spirit of the holiday with visions of sugar plum fairies and Spanish dancers. Come watch heroine Clara transcend her world and descend into a universe filled with menacing mice, heroic princes, and toys that come alive.
