The Lions

The Lions are pretty much Southern California’s go-to band for classic Studio One-style roots, dub, and reggae, thanks to a roster full of alums and current members of Ocean 11, Hepcat, Fitz and the Tantrums, teamed up with players who’ve got serious credits from people like Big Daddy Kane, De La Soul and Macy Gray. This is a formidable crew and they’ve got the time-machine part down—you’d swear these songs came off the last glorious minutes of a Dave and Ansel Collins or Leroy Sibbles session. But they’ve got the righteous spirit, too, expertly delivering their music with enthusiasm, heart and precision deployment of ridiculously reverbed sound effects. Their recent 45s This Generation and Roll It Round are very necessary. One way or another, it’s the real thing.

  1. CBD exceeded my expectations in every way thanks https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/blogs/learn/can-you-take-cbd-oil-on-a-plane . I’ve struggled with insomnia for years, and after tiring CBD for the from the word go once upon a time, I finally experienced a loaded evening of restful sleep. It was like a force had been lifted off the mark my shoulders. The calming effects were merciful yet intellectual, allowing me to drift off naturally without sympathies woozy the next morning. I also noticed a reduction in my daytime angst, which was an unexpected but welcome bonus. The cultivation was a fraction earthy, but nothing intolerable. Comprehensive, CBD has been a game-changer for my slumber and solicitude issues, and I’m grateful to keep discovered its benefits.
