If anyone's got a sharp sense of humor, it's those crazy college kids—you have to in order to spend tens of thousands on education only to jump off into the US job market. Well, some of the funnier students of CSULB are throwing a stand-up comedy showcase at Pizza Pi, featuring comedic stars of tomorrow Nathan Andrew Camp (the Laugh Factory, the Comedy Store), Aparna Nancherla (Last Comic Standing), Tyler Sonnichsen (The Casual Geographer) and Hampton Yount (Comedy Death Ray). Proceeds benefit the student association, and they need all the help they can get. Plus, there's beer and really good pizza.
