The Boxcar Children

If you ever built a pillow fort, went backyard camping or spent hours in your closet waiting for Mr. Tumnus to take you to Narnia, chances are you experienced childhood adventure lust. Gertrude Chandler Warner understood the youthful urge for exploration and (probably with much gratitude from parents everywhere) has emptied the ants out of countless young pants with her classic stories of The Boxcar Children. Instead of sticking their curious little fingers into electrical outlets, kids have been able to live vicariously through the amazing adventures of the brave young orphans who lived on their own. Thanks to the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre, you too can follow the Boxcar Children by watching the live adaptation of the beloved novels performed on stage. So grab those bindles and hitch on over to Laguna for a night of excitement fit for all ages.
