Sullivan & Kyle's Vaudeville Revue

The last vaudeville performers and patrons have long since departed, and since moving-picture cameras weren’t widely used until the early 1910s, there’s almost no footage of authentic vaudeville acts. Still, some of the greatest performers who ever lived came from that school—from WC Fields and Al Jolson to Mae West and Fanny Brice—and these legendary vaudevillians produced a variety of acts that established the heart of American show business. Even though you can’t see the old-time greats, of course, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a flashback to yesteryear, so join vintage comedians Sullivan and Kyle for an evening of hoofers, magicians, singers and more. It’s even family-approved, which you couldn’t always say about the good old days, and if you wear your finest duds from the '20s-'40s, you get five bucks off admission, and that’s exciting enough to make any goat jump through a hoop—even without the monkey.

Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: June 20. Continues through June 28, 2014
