Spamalot

Killer rabbits, flying cows, encounters with sexy showgirls and other hijinks occur in the musical Spamalot. Based on the 1975 British classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail, this comedy is based (very) loosely on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Together, they encounter some seriously strange characters while on a journey to find the Holy Grail. Spamalot (which opened on the Great White Way in 2005) pokes and prods at the film with silly musical numbers such as “You Won’t Succeed On Broadway” and “He Is Not Dead Yet.” Fans of the Monty Python empire should not miss this spectacle during its three-day run at the Cerritos Center for Performing Arts—and newcomers should come to join the cult.
