While you’re certainly familiar with the insanely sugary fare that is The Nutcracker, you may not be familiar with the Found Theatre Co.—a small, wily group of oddballs that lives to turn the world and our perception of it upside-down. From Donner Party: The Musical to Hitler In Love, the buffoonery and wisecracks never run dry with these characters (who also tend to throw a handful of poignant socio-cultural observations into each run-amuck show). Don’t miss their current hack job of everyone’s favorite holiday ballet, this time set in an old folks’ home—which might just give nutcracking a whole new meaning.
