Your kid might not be a great artist— hell, you might not even be one either. But who can deny that there is a satisfying, juvenile pleasure in scribbling and making giant lines on paper with abandon? Happening at the next downtown Fullerton Art Walk, Hibbleton Gallery and its zine library corner Bookmachine will host a giant art and zine show where guests are invited to partake in different individual art and writing stations alongside the curated artworks on display. A typewriter will be at the ready for the “Take a Poem/Leave a Poem” stop, photographer Cinthya Nunez will set up a Polaroid Pop-Up booth, and plenty of zines will make their debut as well. So come and let your inner Jackson Pollock or David Shrigley out.
