Scott Kelly is best known for his work with metal band Neurosis. But his solo work draws on similar influences. Fuzzy, loud and with a gritty smattering of blues, Kelly evokes Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo's raspy growl while the guitar work is reminiscent of the indie stylings of instrumental metal band Pelican.
