Though he may no longer spin ’80s tracks during the lunch hour on KROQ, DJ Richard Blade appears on Sirius XM’s First Wave station daily—and this week, he’ll spin at the Pike Bar in Long Beach for a special ’80s-themed get-together. For those of you who’ve missed his English delivery and dedication to Depeche Mode, Blade will showcase the best alternative and new wave of his generation at a free event presented by Gruv Productions. Joining him will be DJs Big Brother Zeke, Roly, Zero:3 and Jun, all playing that era’s hits and videos.
