At first, this might sound like another Christopher Guest movie, but in actuality, Evening for Winds is a concert composed entirely of wind and percussion instruments. Playing selections from both classic band-collections as well as contemporary score, conductor Michael Corrigan strikes a perfect balance between old and new. The most recent addition to the Pacific Symphony, Evening for Winds keeps classical music especially captivating with this unique concert powered exclusively by mighty sets of lungs.
