Radicalized screening

It wasn't so long ago that the Occupy Wall Street movement set off a global chain of rallying cries against big corporations and economic inequality; protestors from all around the world set up camp to bring attention, and Los Angeles's own Occupy movement settled in large numbers in front of City Hall. Radicalized recalls these events and condenses thousands of hours of footage focused on anarchist-centric, Echo Park-based group My Friend's Place and three years of encampment, strategizing, and activism into an intense and introspective documentary film. Tonight's screening of Radicalized at Hibbleton Gallery is probably one of a few screenings the film will make, and director Sam Slovick will be in tow to field questions from the audience.
