Pacific Symphony: Hot Latin Nights

Sultra salsa. Cuban rhythms. A wine bar that’s conveniently close by. If you’re looking for a romantic date spot, Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre may be it for the night–at least on August 9. That evening, Pacific Symphony will be putting on a show called “Hot Latin Nights” complete with selections from Georges Bizet's “Carmen” and Maurice Ravel's “Bolero.” Led by conductor Carl St. Clair, the show will feature Belgrade Opera star Milena Kitic, salsa singer Bobby Rivas, and the band JT N Friends who’ve performed with George Benson and Neil Young. So sit back, relax, and have a memorable night of dance and music.
