Overlooked

Playwright Brian Nelson has a knack for the dark and strange—his resume includes films like 30 Days of Night, Devil and Hard Candy. And for this world premiere play debuting at the Chance Theater, Nelson takes a look at what happens when an artist hires a homeless man to sit as his latest art installation, therefore sending the public into a complete tizzy. Is it a sweet gig—or is this really a form of slavery? Nelson blurs the line between right and wrong—and even between what is art and what exists as the “real world.” Don't miss this “daring and dangerously funny” comedy, currently in its preview run before next week's official opening, and say you were one of the first to ever see it.

Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Sept. 22. Continues through Oct. 21, 2012
