Leaving your family behind to risk your life protecting our nation’s vital interests is no laughing matter—but the folks at the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group (DPMRSG) aim to change that notion by hosting a comedy show benefiting local Jarheads and their families. The show features Julie Kidd, one of Orange County’s Funniest Housewives and winner of the The View’s “Funniest Housewife in America” contest, former Leatherneck James P. Connolly, a seasoned comedian, host and radio personality, and many more. The Operation Semper Funny comedy benefit show brings together a star-studded lineup, door prizes and a silent auction to aid this most valuable cause.
