It’s that time of the year again—the OC Music Awards are here. And instead of watching award ceremonies where guys like Jimmy Fallon hand out trophies to bands like Weezer, we have a night that showcases the best local bands and musicians that rock out in beautiful Southern California. The awards are handed out in 24 categories; this year includes the Lifetime Achievement Award to Rodney on the ROQ and the OC Impact Award to Thrice. And after a grueling process, the winners for the Best Live Acoustic and Best Live Band perform during the ceremony, plus a few surprise guests. So head on out and support local music!
