Norman Rockwell is Bleeding

Television shows come and go these days-especially when it comes to the FOX network-but Christopher Titus' eponymous show was actually pretty funny-though, half the time you're laughing, you feel bad for laughing at whatever it is that you're laughing at. Titus started performing standup comedy at 18 but only came to national attention with Titus, a show that addressed issues that aren't really supposed to be funny via first-hand fatalistic storytelling and eyewitness accounts-family suicide, mental illness, heart attacks, fistfighting your own father. Both the show (often censored by the network) and Titus' standup act are edgy, confrontational and, most important, real.
