Now that filthy old Sylvia Browne has been exposed as a filthy old charlatan and the entire world is turning on New Jersey spitfire Theresa Caputo, one might worry that all of this spirit stuff is for the cuckoo birds. Just remember that while Mae West’s favorite psychic Criswell was a bit off when he told her she’d one day be our commander in chief, he was correct that JFK wouldn’t run for reelection because “something would happen to him.” It’s a 50/50 ghoulish gamble when you attempt contact with the otherworldly, and the key is to brush up on your cold reading traps and never pay too much for the pleasure of getting fleeced. There’s a chance, after all, that young mediums like Cindy Kaza might actually have an “in” to the other side. We predict some of you will find out soon enough.
