Lewis Black is an angry manand rightly so. Politics can be infuriating, especially for a man who grew up in the shadow of Washington, D.C. His political rants are punctuated with bouts of yelling and vivid gesticulation but their content is familiar: the religious right is chronically and ironically "retarded" (to borrow a Black-ism). However, he's less smug than Bill Maher, more choleric than Jon Stewart, and Black is much more accomplished than the typical raving lunatiche's earned a Grammy, an Emmy, several Comedy Central standup specials, two HBO specials, and the honor of "best-seller" for both of his books. He's been a guest commentator for The Daily Show since the beginning and even has his own segment, naturally titled "Back In Black."
