Hunx has his hand in a little bit of everything: a '60's girl pop-esque band, a gossipy gay and sequined TV show, a hair salon/vintage/record store, even down the pants of an audience member. How strange it must be to be Hunx. He has his own line of hand painted Hunx dolls. The guy dated Nobunny for several years and co-wrote early Hunx and his Punx songs with him—when he was in Gravy Train! He toured the UK with Le Tigre. He had a Micheal Jackson cover band. The Oakland-based emperor of the young and underground is coming to Alex's Bar care of Sailor Jerry's rum and bringing his punkettes with him, including Shannon Shaw of Shannon & the Clams. Prepare for a night of rum-fueled wanton hookups and general debauchery but save some room in your heart for a slow dance to “Lover's Lane.”
