Handmade: A Maker’s Market

Autumn is arguably crafting season (or the annual height of the hobby, for those who craft year-round), so definitely count us in for the first annual Handmade: A Maker's Market festival down in San Juan Capistrano. Held at the farm-to-table-esque Ecology Center, this craft carnival showcases Southern California's ridiculously talented community of artists. Stroll the gardens and peruse dozens of vendors exhibiting handmade goodies—including fine art, furniture, skincare products, clothing, wildflower arrangements, custom woodwork, jewelry, pottery, and medicinal herbs (no, not that kind). Refreshments include coffee, doughnuts and organic juice. Hopefully this becomes an annual event, but just in case, don't miss this chance to get crafty in south county.
