Goodmovie

Badlands is one of the most visually striking films you will ever see. All of Terrence Malick's films have been gorgeous, but Badlands, with its emotionally flat narration (courtesy Sissy Spacek), unique score and first-rate cinematography, set the tone for all of his work to come. The premise is relatively simple-two youngsters (played by Spacek and a devastatingly charming Martin Sheen) on the run from the law-but the execution turns what could have been a straightforward lovers-on-the-lam flick into a poetic meditation on devotion, violence and hope-and one of the most evocative, haunting and beautiful film debuts in cinematic history.
