Going Green

Caid mille failte! St. Patty’s day is great and all—if you like drunk and obnoxious (American) jocks and green beer barf on your shoes. But if you’re legitimately into Irish culture, the best way to experience it (outside of traveling there yourself) is to take advantage of the wealth of Erin that we have right here. This year, the Barclay is hosting the Kerry Records Irish Christmas, featuring Irish button accordion player David Munnelly and Celtic fiddler Kathleen Keane alongside Riverdance stars Darren Maguire and Maeve Croke hoofing it to Irish Christmas carols played with Celtic fiddles, the uilleann pipes, Irish flutes, and bodhráns. May the road rise to meet you as we begin the Christmas insanity.
