Get Familiar

Those that only know Fountains of Wayne for “Stacy’s Mom”—which is apparently a lot of people, given that they were bizarrely up for the “Best New Artist” Grammy after that song hit, even though they had been around and successful for nearly a decade before—are selling themselves seriously short, missing out on modern day power-pop classics like Utopia Parkway and the b-sides collection Out-of-State Plates. TV special. Well, here’s a chance for recompense: a new acoustic tour, celebrating the release of their first live DVD, No Better Place: Live In Chicago.
