The concept seems plainly incongruous. How can a massive shopping center bursting with big box retailers, clearly the personification of vacuous suburban existence, host a farmers market a quintessential element of erudite, cultured, Stuff White People Like society? Mind-bending or not, thats the reality of the new Certified Farmer's Market at the District at Tustin Legacy. And its actually pretty good though not as impressive in quantity as other offerings, youll find a solid dozen vendors pimping produce and might even score a free kettle corn sample. Theres also live music from local bands, to help make you forget youre in a mall parking lot. If fresh fruits, veggies and tunes sound like your scene, it runs every Sunday morning until Oct. 24.
