e.impulse

Electrical impulses—the tiny sparks that make us function and allow us to move, to react and to feel. The theory behind “e.impulse,” the new exhibit at Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, is that we don’t know what drives our electrical impulses and the true nature of the direction they take us. All we can do is observe our reactions, study our feelings and behaviors and attempt to draw some kind of a conclusion. Artists Jeff Alu, Evalynn Alu and Kim Ye share their thoughts on the subject by presenting works of photography, video, music, paintings and sculpture.

Thursdays-Sundays, noon. Starts: Aug. 5. Continues through Aug. 29, 2010
