December Decimation

Nothing says Christmas like a massive gathering of heavy-metal and deathcore bands. The third annual December Decimation takes over the Glass House this week for two nights of guttural chaos. Headlining both dates are Upland’s Winds of Plague, a heavy-hitting sextet who’ve toured with some of the best thrash and black-metal groups in the business. Wednesday’s bill also includes After the Burial, War of Ages, Thick as Blood, Upon a Burning Body and Japan’s Loyal to the Grave. If you’re looking to escape the sugary disposition of the season, be assured you won’t find any of that holly-jolly crap here.
