Cooking for a Cause

By “bringing charity straight to the kitchen,” Cooking for a Cause contributes to local charities through the love of all things culinary—after all, what better way to cheer spirits than with a great meal? This Wednesday, the organization, in conjunction with Great Taste Magazine, will host a lively reception to celebrate food, wine and the spirit of dining. Open to foodies of all ages, delectable exhibitions will include cheese presentation, imaginative cocktail preparation (our favorite kind) and stove-side cooking demonstrations (with wine pairing!) by local chefs including Art Gonzalez from McKenna’s, Adam Navidi from Adam Navidi Catering, David Slay from Park Ave. and host chef Paul Squicciarini of the Orange County Wine and Food Center. Bring your appetites.
