You’ve got to prove your love to Class Actress frontwoman Elizabeth Harper. This dance-pop wunderkind sings like the Madonna of “Into the Groove,” purring come-ons that are as salacious as they are oblique. Harper shares Madonna’s lusty pout and soft spot for keyboard-heavy disco gloss, but 2011’s sleeper indie hit Rapprocher is much more pronouncedly endowed to the tickly robotics of a Gary Numan album. Tense club tracks like “Keep You” and “Weekend” (“You make me late for work/You make me late for church”) give way to “Love Me Like You Used to,” an outpouring of sexual frustration that proves even robots have libidos.
