Christmas Day at Disneyland
It's Christmas Day and you know something? Not a whole lot is open—except for dive bars and Disneyland. Which are actually both really fun to spend your daylight hours at during such a holiday. But for those who want an enjoyable outing in the fresh California air, and away from the surly drunks of a dark dive, we recommend taking some of the cash Santa gave you and head over to the merriest place on Earth. Delight in the festive spectacle of the Christmas Fantasy Parade, complete with marching toy soldiers and dancing reindeer; ooh-and-aah at the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks display over Sleeping Beauty's snow-frosted castle; and get yourself one of the best corn dogs on the planet. It might not be as traditional as sitting around the fire with loved ones, but it sure beats drinking cheap liquor next to strangers.
