Bronze Metal

We'll probably get a few angry letters for this, but to us, heavy metal has always seemed a little ridiculous. Sure, it started spooky and evil with Black Sabbath, but eventually, invocations of the devil gave way to Spandex and hair spray, and metal seemed doomed to sit in the corner of musical history with a dunce cap on. Which makes it the perfect genre for tribute bands, inherently silly as they are. Why feel bad about unabashadly donning your leather and feathering your hair when you know everyone else around you will be doing the same thing? True metalheads, be warned: The evening features a performance by a cover band called Phatt Sabbath.
