This weekend marks the opening of the OC Fair—and while Friday's rush to attend opening day will absolutely slam the 405 to a maddening crawl, hopefully by the time Saturday rolls around, you can make it to Fair parking lot without succumbing to a murderous case of road rage. Reward your patience and defensive driving skills by partaking in the Brew Hee Haw Craft Beer Roundup, held at a shade-providing festival tent at the fairgrounds. Enjoy tastings from more than 60 craft beer selections (you get to pick 15), poured by breweries from far and wide—though the event will focus heavily on Orange County's local brew houses. Ticket-holders also take home a commemorative glass and get complimentary admission to the fair. (Meaning you can treat your designated driver to a fried Twinkie.)
