Breakfast at Tiffany's

There’s no better way to beat the mean reds than by eating a croissant in front of the home of the baby-blue box: Tiffany’s—that’s according to Holly Golightly, at least. And the neurotic heroine from Truman Capote’s classic novel Breakfast at Tiffany’s has never been portrayed more sweetly than with Audrey Hepburn’s performance in the 1961 film. It’s the movie that made the little black dress a staple, created a love affair with the girl-next-door, and halted the naming of cats nationwide. See the cinematic staple once again at the historic Fox Theatre in Fullerton. The theatre is closed to the public but the parking lot will project the film—so don’t forget to pack a breakfast snack of your own while you dream of expensive jewelry and kissing in the rain.
