Bouncy, Trouncy, Flouncy, Pouncy

It's pretty good timing: Just a few weeks ago, your kids were all over the news of a killer tiger in San Francisco-though, if you were taken from your natural habitat and caged up, you'd probably lunge at a couple of humans slinging taunts at you, too. Starting Friday, the Discovery Science Center will be hosting its winter exhibition, “Tigers-Tracking a Legend,” which focuses mostly on the protection and preservation of the creatures. You'll be able to check out numerous interactive installations in which you can learn about tiger tracks, tiger direction and speed, tiger-cub survival, a family of Bengals in India's Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, and much more. You'll even be able to (safely) experience the force of the tiger's jaws and claws. Either way, your kids love tigers. You love tigers. They're adorable and dangerous, and this is your chance to catch this exclusive, 10-year touring exhibition, whose stops include European and Asian destinations.
