Boat Parade of Lights
You know why Santas always jolly? Because he knows where all the bad girls live. His only problem in OC, though, is that beach bunnies arent impressed by anyone whose ride is a sleigh with nine smelly reindeer. The solution? He takes a lawn chair, blanket and hot drink down to Dana Point Harbor for the annual Boat Parade of Lights and scopes out an appropriate new mode of conveyance. Therell be about 100 spectacularly lit craftslast year, from an 82-footer to a 9-foot dinghycompeting for awards in multiple categories. This years theme? Santas Surfin Safari. Caveat for nice girls: Beware bearded, fat sailor bearing giftsyou may be happy to see him, but thats not a candy cane in his pocket.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. Starts: Dec. 11. Continues through Dec. 19, 2009
