TELL YOUR CHILDREN: pot will run you down in the streets, kill your high school sweetheart, give you cannibalistic killer munchies, hurl you out a window, sell your baby for dope and drive you mad-which can be a total buzz kill. The up side is that UC Irvine's drama department will be romping through the '30s morality tale/cannabis cult classic/musical satire, Reefer Madness . The year is 1936, and marihuana is rotting your children's brains, driving them to unspeakable acts, and Dr. Feel Lousy of the PTA is going to make sure you know how much hell is going to break loose from the ganja. Enter the Reefer Den, where Denizens of the Night get hopped up on the wacky tobackey, have weird sex and hang with a bare-chested satyr-as you do. Now if we could just find that roach we left in the ashtray, this show will be the shiznit.
