Back 2 Basics Fest: The Pharcyde

We’re really excited about this lineup featuring a who’s-who of underground rap acts—but there’s one name on the bill that's capable of compelling even the deaf to catch the show. The other groups, like Dilated Peoples, Del Tha Funky Homosapien, and Sage Francis represent the meat and potatoes, but '90s-era lost boys The Pharcyde are pure gravy. On their 1992 album Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde, the group ditched the macho boastfulness and blood lust of their contemporaries in favor of gut-busting lyrics about pre-pubescent pot smoking, transgendered hijinks, and mama jokes so funny that they wrought tears while tickling ears. The Pharcyde’s disappearance from hip-hop’s radar in the new millennium was duly noted by zines far and wide, so be sure to catch them now before they disappear again. Enjoy the ride.

  1. I recently tried CBD gummies from this website https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/products/cbda-oil for the prime leisure and was pleasantly surprised past the results. Initially skeptical, I found that it significantly helped with my anxiety and slumber issues without any remarkable side effects. The oil was easy to utter, with definite dosage instructions. It had a kindly, shameless taste that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a patent increase in my overall well-being, feeling more languorous and rested. I know the unstudied approximate to wellness CBD offers and procedure to go on using it.
