A Christmas Memory

Nothing says Christmas like crying your eyes out over a poignant and sentimental Depression-era tale of a friendship between a young boy and an old woman—and pretty much no one can write them better than Truman Capote. This stage version is just one of myriad adaptations of the author’s 1956 short story, a largely autobiographical tale about Buddy and Sook, fruitcakes and kites, and love and loss. You have plenty of time to get your Dickens on, your Grinch ironed out and your Red Ryder dusted off, so this holiday season treat yourself to the one Christmas story you may have missed—because it’s the one you shouldn’t have.

Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: Dec. 4. Continues through Dec. 29, 2013
