'80s Night at MOLAA

The '80s revival gets one more spin (me right round, baby, right round) with the Museum of Latin American Art's '80s night party this Friday. Guests are encouraged to wear their ruffled, spandex, neon best and enjoy a seaside reception of art, music and food. DJ Dennis Owens (of The Good Foot, Free Moral Agents, and pretty much every other badass musical installment in Long Beach and beyond) will provide the flashback dance tracks—everything from Bowie to Madonna to MJ to Kajagoogoo. Practice your robot moves amongst a backdrop of sculptures, paintings and more—and two lucky costumed attendees will win a romantic dinner at Retro Row's newest eatery, a tapas restaurant called The Social List. Maybe leave the acid-wash jeans at home for that one, though.
