16th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival

In a span of three days, South Coast Repertory introduces seven new plays during the 16th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. The showcase features five staged readings and two full productions, attracting theatergoers from across the nation. Readings scheduled include Trudy and Max in Love (or That Forever Feeling), Fast Company and Hope and Gravity. Past premieres at the festival include Lynn Nottage's Intimate Apparel, Nilo Cruz’s Anna in the Tropics and David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole. Since its introduction in 1998, the event has presented the work of 83 playwrights, with a total of 105 plays. Come experience some of the best new plays in the country in the course of a just one weekend.
