Rounding off the 2013 theater season, Long Beach's quirkiest little theater house presents their 10th Annual Holiday Melodrama: Long Beach is Sinking. Written and directed by Jamie Sweet, we follow a cast of (what else?) madcap and courageous heroes as they try to save this fair city from going subaquatic—and even travel to the center of the earth to do so. To sweeten the deal (as if a completely harebrained theatrical performance about Long Beach wasn't enough), the annual Holiday Melodrama is an ice cream social, too. So bundle up, enjoy a free frosty treat, and settle in for an evening of theater that could only be conceived by the minds of our wonderfully weird local talents.
