Best Cronut Orange County 2013 - Cafe 109
We weren’t that swayed by the cronut craze. Layers of croissant dough forming a doughnut? Meh. But then . . . the caramel “droissant” at Cafe 109 left us wanting more. Sweet, sticky caramel seeped from within the layers and pooled in the hole in the middle. Paired with a cup of the supercharged Kyoto cold-drip coffee, the caramel droissant is the best treat in the county. Within this clean, industrial setting, we found our nirvana.
