Octane Alley

Readers' Choice: Legends Sports Bar
You've probably already decided whether you'll ever set foot in this Huntington Beach sports bar based on its name. But Octane Alley might surprise you: Aside from the usual slate of televised sporting events, they've hosted bluesy indie-rock band Moostache's CD-release party, as well as other local music such as avant-garde one-man show Stanley Lucas Revolution. They've also got weekly, Wednesday-night comedy shows. All that aside, the primary focus at Octane Alley (formerly Martini Blues) is still sports, with nearly 40 TVs, Sunday-football drink specials ($3 domestics!) and UFC pay-per-views with only a $5 cover—much cheaper than the $50 you'd spend at home in quiet solitude, watching dudes beat one another up.
