Koo's Catering Truck
Readers' Choice: The Cheesecake Factory
Way before food trucks were cool, there was Koo's Catering Truck. Parked outside Freshia, a Tustin Korean market, every Friday night, Koo's Catering Truck offers freshly made, piping-hot hodduk, which translates to hot rice cake in Korean. Hodduks may look like pancakes, but they're actually sweet rice cakes with gooey, cinnamon-and-walnut-filled centers. They're affordable at $1 each (or 11 for $10!) and make for an especially good treat on a colder night. (Though, do take note: The truck is sometimes replaced with a stand just in front of the market's entrance. Follow your nose!)
