Ideal for a nice, cheap night out with a date, the family, or alone, Moonlight Movies on the Beach screen most Tuesday and Wednesday nights during the summer on Long Beach's Granada and Cherry beaches. Films shown run the gamut from Casablanca to Jurassic Park to E.T. The screenings are free, along with the popcorn and other snacks, but if you want dinner, there's usually a yummy meal available for purchase—because sometimes things do taste better with sand.
