Second best is a meaty birria taco, also piled high with cilantro, onions and lime. The soft, shredded meat in the birria taco from Hot Taco, which lately stations itself on the corner of 15th and Sycamore streets in Santa Ana, is a wonderful complement to its stewed cousin if you're in a hurry.
