For $3.50 regular admission ($1 on Tuesdays), OC residents can spend an afternoon in the cool air conditioning of several independently operated Nickel! Nickel!s playing their favorite arcade games for, that's right, a nickel. We like the Lake Forest location, which features more than 100 games to choose from, including Deal or No Deal, Slam a Winner and the ever-popular Guitar Hero III. With more than 20 games that are free to play and Papa John's pizza on site, the noisy, colorful arcade is a haven for hardcore gamers, birthday-party planners, and children ages 8 to 58.
