Best Protesting Group

The Ku Klux Klan tried to reclaim Anaheim's Pearson Park, where 20,000 people attended the Invisible Empire's rally back in 1924. OC liberals had better things to do than protest hate that weekend in February and didn't show up. Anaheim police didn't bother making a uniformed presence at the park until it was too late. A loose gathering of 40 protesters, mostly punks and blacks, took the Klan seriously and waited patiently for their arrival. When a half-dozen Kluckers pulled up in an SUV, a street fight broke out, with the Klan getting their asses handed to them. The “Anaheim Antifa,” as the protesters became popularly known, turned into internet folk heroes overnight, with memes celebrating their brawl with white supremacists and online fundraisers bursting with donations to cover medical expenses. The OC district attorney's office didn't share in the enthusiasm, charging counterprotesters with assault.
