The joint founded by world-class pocket-billiards player and respected tournament director Danny Kuykendall rests a short bank shot from a trailer park, light-industrial plants and bustling Main Street. But once you step through the double doors, you'll be hard pressed to come up with a reason to leave. The long bar in the middle of the rectangular establishment is a good place to start. A friendly bartender supplies liquid provisions for the journey ahead. Sit and chill to sporting programs on banks of televisions—there are 33 TVs and 14 additional big-screen, high-definition sets strategically placed around the joint. Just off this front seating area are four billiard tables seemingly lorded over by Bill Walton, Tony Dorsett and Sugar Ray Leonard. This intimate pool area is suitable for practice or friendly games. To take on today's version of Minnesota Fats requires a trip to the opposite end of the bar, which opens up to a Costco-sized hangar stuffed with perhaps a gazillion pool tables. A fenced-in outdoor patio facing Main is a good place to grab fresh air, escape the noise or dine al fresco on Danny's K's surprisingly good "all-American fare." Food selections include sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, steaks, prime rib, pasta dishes and killer burgers. If that isn't enough to waste your day and paycheck, there are plenty of video games to play and pretty waitstaff to annoy.
